All Saints’ Church has a small, but active Sunday School program. We have four different classes plus a nursery to meet the needs of all ages!
Godly Play is a class for children age 3 through second grade. A child-centered story-telling method is used to bring the characters of the Bible to life. Children enjoy time for art and close the session by sharing a juice and cookie “feast”. Anne Kyle teaches Godly Play.
Living the Good News is curriculum which follows the schedule of Bible readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. Children in grades three through six share stories from the Bible that will also be read that day in church. Arts and crafts are also shared.
Episcopal Youth Fellowship is a class for student in 7th grade and up and is lead by our Rector, Mike Kyle.
The Adult Forum covers various topics and is lead by The Rev. Dr. Craig Klein. Craig is the Academic Dean at MSU-West Plains and is an ordained deacon in the Episcopal Church.
The Nursery at All Saints is staffed by trained, professional home care aids from Riverways Home Health in West Plains. Babies and children too young for Sunday School are welcomed in our nursery. The summer nursery is open from 10:15 to 11:30 on Sunday mornings. Children and babies are welcome to join their parents in the church during services or may be in the nursery as best suits each family. Many families pop over to the nursery at the start of the communion prayers to bring their children into church for communion or a blessing. Our nursery has a new crib for baby’s comfort and safety.
