All Saints marks 122 years as a congregation, 120 years in “the little white church…”
On Sunday January 18, 2009 All Saints’ Church not only an annual parish meeting, but marked the 120th anniversary of worship in the little white church with the bright red doors. One worship service was held to bring the whole congregation together. A pot luck luncheon was held following the service and the annual meeting conducted as lunch was concluding.
Three new Vestry members were elected including Hinton Stokes, Etta Jett and Wayne Plocher. After elections the rector, Mike Kyle, announced that Wayne would serve as the Senior Warden for All Saints for 2009. Wayne and his wife, Bonnie, were elected to serve as the parish representatives to the Southern Deanery and Diocese of West Missouri Convention. Dianne Ivie was elected as alternate delegate.
